At Sakura Health and Wellness, we aim to make accessing allied health care as simple and supportive as possible for individuals in Mount Warren Park, Logan, Northern Gold Coast and surrounding communities. Whether you’re accessing psychology, speech therapy or our dietitian, we offer a variety of referral options to suit your needs.

You can access our services without a referral, but depending on your circumstances, a referral may allow you to claim rebates or funding support. If you’re unsure which option applies to you, our team is here to help guide you through the process.

There are several referral pathways to see one of our clinicians:

Medicare Referrals – To access Medicare rebates, a referral from your GP is required. Common plans include:

• Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) – for psychology services.
• Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) – for services like dietetics or speech therapy.
• Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) – for psychological and dietetic support

 

NDIS Referrals – We support individuals with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS funding across a wide range of services including psychology, speech therapy, dietetics, and allied health support.

WorkCover – Talk to your Case manager or GP

Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) – we provide psychological services to employees of several organisations for personal or work related challenges.

Comprehensive Third Party (CTP) Insurance – If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident and need a mental health injury treated our psychologists can assist.

Private Health Insurance – If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be eligible to claim a rebate for services such as psychology, speech therapy or dietetics.

Private Appointments (No Referral Needed)– You can choose to see any of our allied health professionals as a private client without a referral. Standard fees apply.
